This song also had quite a lot of repetition, symbolizing the ever-growing amount of Irohazaka Jumps, and near-identical turns on Irohazaka. Also, there is a feeling of panic, anxiety, and even a bit of existential dread in much of this song, symbolizing the need to catch up to Kai and his SW20 before the finish. It's also worth noting that the singer calls his girlfriend "darling", rather than the more common "baby", this could be a bit of a metaphor for Kai's status as a gentleman, and even for Takumi's upcoming race against Ryosuke, and the fact that the name of this song is near-identical to the name of the song played right before it is just a little bonus-coincidence. Overall, I think this song was perfect for the race between Takumi and Kai, and I don't think there would be a better song to fulfill the monumental moment of Takumi adapting to, and doing the Irohazaka Jump.
